- Human Factors/UX Researcher (Contract): Conducted in-person human factors studies with CGM and insulin pump medical device partners of Tidepool Loop app to reduce user error and mitigate risk. Created screener surveys, guides, protocols, and wrote residual risk and regulatory reports with root cause analysis for simulated use human factors task analysis studies. Ran interviews, card sorts, and concept testing to make automated insulin dosing app safe & usable.
- Planned and conducted unmoderated card sort research for commercial release of Tidepool Loop app, analyzed quantitative results and presented findings to internal stakeholders with next steps
- Launched exploratory research for untapped market of PCPs on data visualization platform
- Moderated RITE-method research sessions interviewing and running usability testing of Tidepool Loop app with people with diabetes, caregivers of pediatric patients, and caregiver-patient dyads.
- Designed an unmoderated study to test comprehension and information retention for educational onboarding content. Analyzed and tagged transcripts, compared participants’ before-and-after knowledge, and presented findings and design recommendations to the product team.
